Norcross Co. Wild Teas
$7.50 / Sold Out
The first two installments to our ongoing Wild Tea offering.
Throughout the year we will continue to offer new varieties as they become available. These teas are foraged for and produced by the same individual who in our opinion is the premier wild edible forager in North America.
Mass produced teabag tea is often made of small pieces of tea known as "fannings & dust" and due to their small size these leaves release all of their tannins and flavor at once. The result is often a bitter cup of tea if brewed for more than 1-2 minutes. The large pieces in these Wild Teas allow the tannins and flavor to release slowly, so no need to worry about a bitter cup.
Each bag contains 1 oz. (28 grams) of loose leaf tea. About 2 grams per cup is sufficient, but depending on your personal preference use as much tea as suits you.
